Welcome CatBot
Let’s welcome the new CatBot: She’s an AI cat living in large rose gardens at 5 Universities in America & England. Ask her questions by text about gardens, roses, & traveling – and get answers that you can act on.
Click on the small image in the bottom right corner & a black chat field will pop up. Ask a few questions, & she’ll think about 15 seconds – then give you general answers to your question. You can ask her follow-up questions for more detail, but since she’s new – verify the final answers with other resources, like your local Master Gardeners or Consulting Rosarians. This creature is a new feature & will learn as she practices the question/answer cycle. Her software updates will be automatic through the ChatGPT source app that I use, so you’ll continually get quality answers. As the updates come along, I’ll update as needed here.
MY VIEW: AI-powered chatbots are becoming more and more intelligent these days as technology continues to advance. To bridge the gap between humans and computers, chatbots need to interact naturally with people through conversation – something made possible by artificial intelligence. Through natural language processing, AI makes it easier for machines to understand what is being said and respond accordingly.
What was once a technology limited to simple dialogue like Internet 1.0 now allows greater depth in conversations between bots and users. While some may worry that AI-powered chatbots are erasing the need for human agents, but advancements in this technology should be celebrated as providing more efficient communication capabilities than ever before.

Even tech-savvy users need time to filter advanced AI-based chatbots from real humans manually. If you want to learn more about discerning whether you’re listening to a chatbot, check out an article by Jose Luansing Jr. from ‘Make Use Of’ e-zine here.
